Iam Angie with Writer on the River. We help organize and run a charity event in Peoria, IL called Writers on the River. 2025 will be our 10th year. We have raised over $78,000 for our charity Thistle Farms. We are hoping in year 9, this July, to break the $100,000 mark. FINGERS CROSSED!

Since we are a 501c3, we won’t send out official invites until August 2024 when this year’s event is over and the donation has been made to Thistle Farms. Fingers crossed we make a $22,000 donation between the 2 fundraisers we do, the anthology Kate Hawthorne is organizing for us, our raffle baskets, and ticket sales.

Invites go out in August 2024 for our event July 19, 2025. If you are interested please fill out the form. We only send invites to people who fill it out.

Our VIP for 2024…it was crazy. In 20 minutes we sold 180/200 tickets before we crashed the ticketing platform. The last 20 tickets sold in 3 days.
We have almost 500 tickets out between VIP and general admission already. We max out tickets to be 500. We still have plenty of space for all the attendees and authors.
Our readers group (writers on the River on FB) is VERY active and has over 2.7K followers.

Thanks for considering our event. We only send an actual invite if you sign up.

    Hi, L.P.Dover.

My name is Kenny Elisha. I’m a Literary Assistant at P English Literature (PEL). It’s a pleasure connecting with you.

I’m writing to you because we are currently looking for authors to get featured in the September/October’s Edition of Author Interview on our show. I’m curious to know if you would love to come on our show in an interview to talk about your book(s).

If you are interested, you can respond to this message and Peter Okonkwo, who is the founder and show presenter will send you author interview invitation and a form to schedule to meet via Zoom. You’ll get interviewed by him, or the co-host, Cyndi Brec, or the both of them. Our show has interviewed over 700 authors within four years of its establishment.

I urge you to look our show up on YouTube by searching “P. English Literature” and let me know what you think of it. Plus, if you have any questions. Also, the recently launched audio versions of our show is now widely distributed on Amazon Music, Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Samsung Podcasts, Apple Music, RSS.com, Podcast Index and a host of other famous sites for extensive engagements.

Also, because this a promotional interview, there is a $50 appearance fee attached to it (payable to PEL). I apologize for coming into your Direct Form Contact. It’s not a must, you may decline if you want to. We are just trying to reach out to as many interested authors who are seeking for promotional interviews for their works.

    Thank you,
    Kenny Elisha.
